Managed IT

Ongoing technology management.

Questions about monthly plans, monitoring, devices, cloud administration, and long-term support.

5 questions
What is managed IT?
Definition

Managed IT is an ongoing service relationship where Arelova helps support users, maintain devices and networks, administer cloud systems, improve security, monitor key services, coordinate vendors, and plan future technology needs.

What can a managed plan include?
Plan dependent

Plans may include remote help desk support, monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, backups, onboarding and offboarding, vendor coordination, scheduled on-site support, documentation, and technology planning.

Do managed plans include on-site support?
Scheduled visits

Managed plans can include scheduled on-site assistance when the work requires someone physically at the location. Exact coverage depends on the selected plan and agreement.

Do you replace our existing IT provider?
It depends

Arelova can become the primary technology contact, support an internal staff member, coordinate with current vendors, or take responsibility for a defined portion of the environment.

Can we start with a project and move to managed IT later?
Absolutely

Yes. A one-time assessment, installation, migration, or upgrade can lead into an ongoing managed plan when continued support, monitoring, security, or administration would benefit the organization.

Support

Remote, on-site, and urgent support.

How requests are prioritized, when on-site service is used, and what happens after hours.

6 questions
Do you provide on-site service?
Yes

Arelova provides scheduled on-site visits for assessments, installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, equipment work, and problems that cannot be handled efficiently from a distance.

Do you provide remote support?
Yes

Remote support is available for active clients and agreed services when the issue can be solved securely and efficiently without a site visit.

How quickly do you respond?
Priority based

Target acknowledgment times are based on impact and urgency: critical issues may target 30 minutes, high-priority issues one hour, medium issues four business hours, and routine requests the next business day.

These are response targets, not guaranteed resolution times, and depend on the active agreement, availability, incident conditions, and information provided.

What counts as a critical issue?
Critical priority

Examples include a server outage, ransomware, malware, a major Wi-Fi or network outage, or another interruption affecting most or all of the organization.

Is after-hours support available?
Plan dependent

After-hours support is included only with qualifying premium managed plans. Other after-hours requests may be available at an additional rate, subject to availability and agreement.

Will someone answer the phone directly?
Availability

Calls may be answered directly when available. If Arelova is working with another client or cannot answer safely, the call may go to voicemail or an answering system for follow-up.

Networking

Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, servers, and cabling.

Questions about improving connectivity and building dependable infrastructure.

Structured low-voltage cabling may be included in a project depending on the building, route, scope, licensing, insurance, permits, and whether other qualified contractors are required.

Do you help with backups and recovery?
